DESCRIPTION:Dear Child Advocate\, \nWe are grateful to be able to hold our 2nd Annual HEART FORE KIDS Golf Classic! Please join us again in our efforts to grow and to continue to provide services to the children and families of Cameron and Willacy Counties. \nWe would like to ask you to remember Monica’s and Maggie’s House and the children in our community that we serve. It would be wonderful if we could eliminate the incidence of child abuse and keep our children safe from harm. Contributions from warm‐hearted\, community‐oriented individuals make our work possible\, and we need your help. \nEach year\, countless children in Cameron County and Willacy County suffer from abuse and neglect. Cameron County Children’s Advocacy Centers\, Inc. Monica’s House & Maggie’s House ‐operate on the fundamental belief that the best interests of the child victim should be protected as the case proceeds through the investigation\, prosecution stages and beyond. Since 1997\, Monica’s House and Maggie’s House have helped children by providing a safe haven where they can tell their story while beginning the healing process. Additionally\, the staff at Monica’s House and Maggie’s House work closely with local law enforcement officials to ensure that those individuals who have harmed our innocent children are brought to justice. Last year alone\, Monica’s House and Maggie’s House provided support\, care and assurance to over 1000 children and countless families in Cameron County and Willacy County. While no child deserves to be the victim of abuse\, it is our goal to ensure that those who have been affected are given every opportunity to reclaim their lives. \nWe would like to reach out to our supporters and ask for contributions to help us sustain our centers. With your assistance\, Monica’s House and Maggie’s House will continue to offer encouragement and hope to victimized children throughout this county. \nThank you for your generosity.
