We are thrilled to announce our 4th Annual Wine and Whiskers, to be held Saturday. April 25, 2020 benefitting the Humane Society of Harlingen! Established as a nonprofit in 1988, the society relies primarily on generous contributions from the community to fund lifesaving efforts for the more than 6,000 animals we serve each year. We could not exist without continued support from the community.

At this year’s event we will be honoring Dr. William Thomas “Tom” Mosely, beloved local veterinarian and lifelong animal advocate. Dr. Mosely passed in May of 2018, leaving a legacy of more than 50 years of care and service to pets and families throughout the Rio Grande Valley. As one family member noted, his life was a perfect example of Winston Churchill’s quote, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” We’re proud to be celebrating Dr. Mosely’s life at this year’s event, and grateful to Eloise Martin Mosely, Marilyn LaMantia, and Brenda Mosely for their support.
