Harlingen Shopping Centers

Cameron Crossing is Harlingen’s newest retail development and is located at the intersection of Expressway 83 and 77.  It is home to Bass Pro Shop’s newest destination outdoor superstore that includes a restaurant, bowling alley and archery range.

Across the road, off Expressway 83 is Harlingen Corners, a  375,000-square-foot shopping center that features a Kohl’s Department Store, Marshall’s, Bed, Bath & Beyond, and Logan’s Roadhouse to name a few.

Lincoln Corners is located off of Lincoln Avenue right across from Valle Vista Mall. This great shopping area has expanded beyond a Wal-Mart, Anna’s Linens and Payless Shoe Source to include a Hobby Lobby, Bealls, Ross, Shoe Depot and many great eateries including a new Panda Express.

This 40-acre tract of Tamaulipan native brush and impressive plant variety is located in urban Harlingen. Hiking trails navigate the park from the parking area down to the Arroyo Colorado into its riparian habitat. Facilities include restrooms, a covered picnic table, and paved parking lot. Open sunrise to sunset. This park is site LTC028 of the Great Texas Birding Trail system.

Bird Species in season: Harris’s Hawk, White-tailed Kite, Long-billed, Curve-billed and Sage Thrasher, Inca Dove, Verdin, Great Kiskadee, Altamira Oriole, Bewick’s Wren, Groove-billed Ani, Olive Sparrow, Plain Chachalaca.
