Lt. George Gutierrez Jr. Park is one of the many public recreation parks of Harlingen. Named after Lt. George Gutierrez Jr., martyr of the Vietnam war, the park occupies 2 acres of green land with picnic areas, benches, a bandstand and a children's playground.
